Our Focus

Based on Acts chapter 2, The Worldwide Church of God in Camberwell is:

  • A learning community as we grow in the knowledge of the Scriptures
  • A caring community with love and practical support for those in need
  • A worshiping community through the Breaking of Bread, Prayer and Praise and Worship with glad and sincere hearts
  • An outreaching community to take the gospel to a lost world
  • And a Spirit filled community submitted to the Lordship of Christ

We see our mission as involving three important dimensions:

  1. We focus upward, exalting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour in our worship and outreach
  2. We focus inward, serving and ministering to all those called into fellowship with us. Preparing God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
  3. We focus outward, evangelising the world around and encouraging all who hear to embrace God’s gift of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
